Last week I dropped a bit of a bombshell, letting you know that women do, in fact, enjoy flowers. This week I’m here to impart a bit more knowledge: women also like chocolates. I love shopping. For myself especially (ha!), but for others even more so. Why? Because then I don’t have “the guilt”. There’s nothing quite like absolving yourself of shopping sins by playing the gift card:

I first looked at the old bridesmaid gift standby – monogrammed totes and personalized flip-flops. My honest reaction? Not too enthused.

I know that any gift involving a monogrammed tote or shoes with their initials on them would be relegated to the back of the closet. So I did what any practical bride would do—shopped for unpractical gifts. No, I’m not talking about useless tchotchkes—I’m referring to those beautiful items that you pass by in the window but never really buy for yourself. In other words, the fun stuff!

One of my bridesmaids doesn’t have pierced ears, so I got her this bangle set, also from allisonmooney.
