Wedding Alert

When I was planning my wedding last year, I had a hard time finding vendors that matched my sense of style and were within my price range. Well, indie brides of the world unite because Urban Outfitters is launching their very own BRIDAL line called Bhldn on Valentine’s Day this year.
The uber popular retailer for teens and young adults is taking the plunge, tying the knot and jumping on the wedding band wagon. It seems like everyone has a bridal line these days, but I’m pretty excited to see what this collection brings. I’m hoping for lots of vintage and DIY inspired gowns and accessories at affordable prices for all of the brides out there who want their wedding to be as unique as they are. source: blog.gifts.com
Choosing Gifts For Your Girlfriend
Whether it’s her birthday, your anniversary, or you just want to show her how much you care; buying a present for your girlfriend can be a tricky thing to do. It may be necessary for you to look through some of your girlfriend’s things to get an idea of what she likes. Here are a few gift suggestions and gift ideas for her:
Perfume is a great gift to buy, and if your girlfriend has a favourite perfume, it is a relatively easy present to get. Most of the main brands of perfume have gift sets available to buy, and these can make really nice presents.
Make Up can be a bit more difficult to buy, unless you know your girlfriend likes a particular brand or always buys a certain mascara for example. Many of the main make up brands offer special gift sets if you buy two or more products, so you can get a lot for your money. Have a look through your girlfriend’s make up bag to see what she uses – does she like Clarins Extra Firming Foundation or perhaps a particular Max Factor Mascara? If you’d prefer to buy skincare products, try to steer away from anti-aging products, which will only make your girlfriend think she looks old, and go for luxury treatments instead. If you really want to treat your girlfriend, a day at a spa is the ultimate pampering present, and will be very well received.
Flowers are a traditional present, however they have a negative image as they are often associated with boyfriends trying to apologise for something, or being bought in a petrol station on the way home. But flowers can actually be a lovely present to receive, particularly if they are hand-delivered to a workplace with a note attached. If you do want to buy flowers for your girlfriend, do not buy a cheap bunch from a supermarket or petrol station, visit a florist or buy them online.
Chocolates are another traditional present, however, do not buy chocolates if your girlfriend is on a diet! The trick to buying a good present for your girlfriend is to do your research beforehand. Buy presents that relate to her interests – whether she likes reading books buy a certain author, horse riding, pottery or jogging. Buy something that will enrich her life and that she will enjoy using.
Did you know Women Like Flowers

apparently it’s true. At least that’s what I keep hearing from the people who are more qualified to make that statement than myself, you know, the married folk around the office, the guys who aren’t single, and even the women. It seems like a pretty widespread consensus, women plus flowers equals happy.
Luckily for you, we have two of our most popular floral merchants offering increased cash back in our Valentine’s Day Promo, so from now until Valentine’s Day, you can make her day and earn extra cash back, no matter whom “her” refers to. So if you’re looking for roses for Valentine’s Day, a nice birthday bouquet, or simply a nice little “thinking of you” arrangement for a friend. source: blog.ebates.com/ebates/gifts/
